Yesterday was the last time I will be shopping at that Walmart location, which use to be my favourite. there are 4 things that went wrong, which I have spent 35mins just to walk out of the store error free, but the errors and mistakes was not the main thing that hits me, it was what the supervisor said to me. so here is the whole story. I was there with 4 Greensworks coupons, once I hand over the cashier, she immediately call over the supervisor(or CSM, not sure). She came over read over the coupons and said, you can only use one, because the codes are the same, I tried to tell her it was printed right off the manu site, but she insist they are photocopy. I m total fine with it, cus it was not even the first time this happened to me, so I just said ok, I will just use one then. Since she was there, I asked her if I m allow to cut the coupon out from the SB gel box to apply to box of gel that I was going to buy. she said no, and I kinda expect her to say no anyways, but no hurt to ask right. So I ask her if I can buy the gel now, go to my car and cut out the coupon, come back and use it on my next purchase, she also said NO. I ask her why, she goes "because you going to refund that one after you cut off the coupon" WHAT?! not in my lifetime I have done such a thing and how dare she making such a neg perception about me! words can't even describe my anger! I asked her twice why would she think I will do such a thing, she never answered and lefted. I brought the gel anyways, because I had a $1 off coupon in my pile. I had 3 HE shampoo, I pm sobeys for $2 and I got $2 coupon for them. the cashier only took off 1 coupon and forgot the other 2. So I went over tot he customers Desk to clear it out. the lady there called over the same girl(supervisor/csm), she said the cashier just went to break, so she will have to go into her till to find those 2 coupons and redo the transaction for me. She came back and said sorry, I only find 2, so the other one is missing? WHAT?! she just say sorry and left! ok, so there goes one of my free shampoo, but at that point, I just want to leave, cus daughter get crying and stuff. the lady at the desk redid the transactions for the shampoo. when I left the store, I checked over the new receipt and omg, the lady didn't pm sobeys price as $2, she use walmart price as $2.87.....omg, here I go again, I stroll back to the desk, spent another 5 mins to get it fix, WOW WOW WOW. I understand mistakes and error can be made, but being offended is my bottom line! I will not return to that location, I rather drive further to another Walmart to shop.

Horrible of her to assume the worst.
You have every right to be upset. You had the right to cut the coupon off after you purchased it too, that's rediculous. The best things in life...aren't things

LOL.....just sounded too familiar!!!!!!
however, I take a little different approach...
i go back again...too a different cashier ( without coupon issues)
complete my transaction and chuckle on my way out
You should have opened up the Scrubbing Bubbles
( after purchased) and used it on the next transaction it is perfectly legitimate!!!!

I understand your frustration and I think you should complain, but I am shocked that it only takes 5 mins at the customer service desk there. At every Walmart I've been to, the customer service line is at least 15 mins, just to get to the desk! I know you had a bad experience one time, but it seems like you were happy with this location before, (and the short customer service line alone) are reasons to go back
What I wouldn't give to have short lineups hahaApply every possible promo code to your cart, at every store that you visit (and get points for cash back on top of that?). It's sweet and easy with HONEY.

I'm sorry that this happened to you. Sometimes, stores believe the words "customer" and "service" just do not go together.
What you do in your car is none of her business. The coupon is there for you to clip after you buy the product wherever you please. And I've never seen any stipulation that says "thou shalt not clip in the parking lot". Actually, I've seen people standing in line clipping the coupon right off the box sometimes!
In any case, no one should make you feel bad about using a legitimate coupon on a product. It's not good for sales and it's not good for the store.
I guess you can decide how strongly you feel about the situation, but in cases where I've felt justified, I've written a letter to head office, with names, dates, times, and details. If I don't receive a response within the week, I call to follow up to ensure that someone read my letter and ask for a response from a manager.
Bad days, I can understand. Difficult jobs require much patience. However, if it's a case where were unjust accusations made, or if derogatory names were used, I will let the store/regional manager know that I am not impressed. I can tolerate quite a lot (so I've been told), but there are those rare cases that are unacceptable and managers need to know so that this does not happen to anyone else.
Good luck, and I hope everything works out better for you, even if you have to shop somewhere else.

I totally hear you. Once, a cashier input an extra coupon by accident so she said I'd have to go to the customer service to refund everything and re-buy it all again so her till could even out. The customer service line snaked around the front of the desk three times. I knew as soon as I saw it, it was a minimum half hour wait, so WM could get their $1 back. I asked her if I could just give her $1 and she said no.
I stood in line for 20 minutes and hadn't moved an inch in all that time. Some things just aren't worth the effort.

i already emailed the head office about this already, I actually forgot the name of that supervisor, but she is probably the only white girl with blonde hair that works there, I m expecting a call from the store manager tomorrow, and she should know who I m referring too. and Cwawzy who had similar situation as me there probably had dealt with her before too. There is nothing wrong with the cashier to call over supervisor to verify things, but problem was all on the supervisor, her neg assumptions was just unexpectable. I will report back tomorrow and see what the store manager have to say about this.
