free stuff from itunes ( ** must have ipod**)

I was hesitant when i signed up - but it has never been charged for anything i have not authrorized,and it double checks, so i thin you can feel pretty good about putting one in.

I tried and it won't work, they want a credit card, which I don't want to put in.

Did it work for you without a credit card info?

there are no monthly charges (I am frugal remember lol). You just need to register then you can get the cns free song of the week, and any and all podcasts you want.

If you want video podcasts, but have a nano like me, you can always watch them on your puter within the itunes program. The itunes program is also gree

you don't need an iPod - just iTunes. iTunes is free to download for either Mac or PC

I don't think you need an ipod plugged in, from what I've seen. Someone else posted about the free weekly single and you don't need an ipod plugged in for that.

You still need a credit card just to set up an account, but they don't charge you for anything. I get all my Apps there for free. I get free behind the scenes videos for free, it's awesome. Like right now they have a free Degrassi Junior High episode (:

I'm with you they have gift cards for Itunes now so whats with the creditcard??? I have a Visa but I only use it for booking rental cars and hotels, if I can't pay for it on the spot I don't buy it!!
Itunes should really fix that because I too will not enter a credit card # I don't see the need for it?? I have an Ipod but only use music from my personal library and movies. I am sure they loose costumers over this as it upset me after spending a little over $200 now you want my credit card number too to acess the site uuuummm no I was very PO'd!!!

Also to add, along with free podcasts, if you go to the TV Shows section and see that there are free episode downloads as well.

Every Tuesday they also have the single of the week. They will ask for a credit card, but you will NOT be charged anything. It is just so they can process the transactions.
