OH MY GOODNESS!! Julesie-pie!!! You saved my life! I just realized that I forgot my wallet at home so I don't have any money, no Venture card, no nothing (and I'm driving without my license!!)

So I don't think I can mail today!

BUT.....my buddy did list some last minute things (hint hint) so I will instead fill up the box even more!!!!!!!!!!!

Hmm I thought mailday was the 22nd too but I went back and it says the 24th now. Must have been seeing things oh well, mine is gone now!

I've never been a smoker, I had a teacher in grade 6 who described to us in detail what happens when you quit (probably more graphic than what actually happens) but in any case it totally turned me off. Probably a very good thing since I tend to have a bit of an addictive personality and have a hard time quitting other things (like chocolate, chips, coffee, watching TV, shopping) Good luck quitting! I am sure it's not easy, but I know you can do it.

Woowww...thanks everyone for bringing that up! I was going to mail today, but am still waiting on a delivery! This buys me one more day! Sorry buddy...you're just gonna have to be patient! :l muah!

i went to wake up hubby at 2 so he could get ready for work,ya he woke me up at 330 to say good bye. i felt so bad. but he knows i RARELY get sick, i don't milk it. even try hard to work through it. so he must understand. ha and didn't I just say yesterday how i have like 10 packages of puffs with vicks in them i never used.. guess ill be using those soon.

feel less tired, just sore throat. so will be finishing buddies package today for sure.

i can't get over how many shows are repeats now.. must think no ones watching cause of the nice weather..

Can't help but feel a tad anxious this week. On Thursday, we're off to Vancouver to go back to Children's Hospital to meet with the plastic surgeon team this time. We've been so busy with work and Jackson lately, that we've just seemed to put that aside for now and I just don't want to feel all upset about it again now that we have to bring it up and discuss it... oh well... *sigh*
We are stopping at IKEA though on the way home to pick up some items for Jackson's new bedroom!!

Anyways, awesome packages so far everyone. I love seeing all the pics :D

Totally off topic here but I have decided to try and undertake canning my own tomatoes this summer and making my own pasta sauce. I spend so much money on the commercial sauces and they are so overloaded with salt. The brand my family adores makes my feet swell, no matter how much I water it down and re-season it. I have made my own sauce with canned unsalted san marzano tomatoes but it's a thin consistency and my family hates that, but I love it. What can I say...they are saucy folks! So thinking I will try my hand at making my own personalized sauce this summer.

So any of you canning experts out there...I need your advice on how to get started and getting this done right!!

I usually grow, sweet million cherry tomatoes, beefsteak and early girl tomatoes. Would I need to grow roma this year? Are there san marzano tomato plants? Never seen them. What are the best varieties for spaghetti sauce? Just trying to stretch my dollar and enhance my health as we do eat pasta about once a week as it's an easy meal. I really like the yellow (low acid) tomatoes as well. Sorry for all the questions, I'm really looking forward to undertaking this project this summer.

I thought today was the Mail Date too! I put it in my calendar and my alarm beeped at me to go mail my package today! I though I was losing it seeing the 24th!
