In advance of tonight's game, I have to make these comments.
Montreal has not been playing well lately.
Certainly, not like a team getting ready for the playoffs.
They could be in trouble regardless of the outcome of the game tonight.
Montreal are 4 - 6 - 0 in their last ten games, while Leafs are 6 - 3 - 1.
My prediction of gloom for Montreal two nights ago was ill founded since they won against Winnipeg 4 - 2.
That does not change the fact that I am not sure that they can "turn it on again" in time for the playoffs.
I guess that time will only tell.
In spite of the posts of others on this site, Leafs did make the playoffs and we will all have to wait to see what transpires.
Cheers all

End of the First Period Toronto 1 Montreal 1
A good game so far.
No blow out on either side.
Nice to see Kessel get # 20 in this shortened season
He has been a pleasant surprise with his play both offensively and defensively.
League position is still in doubt until the games tonight are finished, but a Toronto - Montreal first round playoff is a probable possibility.
We will all have to wait to see what happens.
More comments to come as this game progresses.
Cheers all

Wow, with 16:32 to go in the game, Montreal has played like they want to win being currently up 4 -1.
Toronto has been hopeless.
If they play like this in the playoffs it will be a very short series, no matter who they play.
What a disgraceful performance!!!
Frankly, I am embarrassed for my previous posts.Last edited by zfurman; Sat, Apr 27th, 2013 at 09:34 PM.
