Nice!! gotta love perks of the job!
My company does work for a food broker that supplies Safeway/SOF, etc. And some of the products we get (damaged boxes, etc) are TOTALLY free!!!
I agree, yay for free food!! (Mine was the start of my stockpile )Getting back into trading - see my Trade and Wish Lists (under 'About Me' tab)

Wow,Lucky you!!! I need to find friends who work in food.On another note ,not food but when I was born, I git all my free furniture of bedroom, same in appart because my uncle have a compagny of design of furnitures and I got like at least 500$(retail value maybe more of design furniture ) and I have an uncle assistant manager at costco but unfortunnatly not in my city.It feel great to have people give you things
The goal is to live day by day not to much thinking hahaha !!!!

I'd love to have such a friend too !! Lucky you and your family. Years ago I had an elderly neighbor who had a grandson that was a rep for Kraft Foods. My hubby and I were struggling at the time, one day there was a knock on my door and it was the father of the Kraft rep (neighbors brother) when I opened the door he says "oh you are home, please wait". He goes to his car and gets a large box from the trunk. He says it is for me and my family. I graciously thank him and take it to the kitchen: it is FULL and I mean FULL of Kraft cheese blocks and bags of shredded cheeses, some packaged products. The bulk was cheese. It came at a time when we really needed it. I have never forgotten that "gift". Yaa, I cried !!
