Decided yesterday to go to WM today.Made preparation as usual to make the trip go smoothly(had shopping list which items are being PMd where, competitors flyers & coupons).DH asked if I was going to neighbourhood location(Williams Pkwy/Mississauga Rd) & ans no as they're always out of stock.Went to location @ Bovaird/Hurontario & had a < impressive experience.Went to a cashier & started putting items on belt with coupons that go with particular items. Items that were not being PMd were put at front...after laying them down realized 2 boxes of soup were underneath buggy so I handed them to her & stated she can start with them..She replied no as she'll have to do them individually..told her since 24 in each pkg, just do 24*$.25...She said no, told her I was just trying to make her job easier but wont tell her how to do her job if she insists...she then said they're told to scan each item..ok no prob...she finished ringing in all non PM items.....The DRAMA begins....2 bottles of Gain FS PM to FB(2*$3.44-$2.50 coupon wub2)..Cashier stated she doesn't believe FS applies as it doesn't mention load amt...explnd to her cpn says ANY 2 Gain prod & FB flyer states quantity in L...cashier apologizes & says she was looking elsewhere on bottle...ok, no prob..Next,2 Secret"scent expressions" deodorant with pic of Secret Outlast but reads"Purchase any Secret Outlast or Secret scent expressions and get A Secret Outlast or Secret scent expression free. Cashier asks me where is the secret Outlast that I'm buying..translated wording to her & she had supv rvw it...all good... Next, gave her tearpads cpn for $3 off any 3 bladed Venus disp razors...says not applicable....pointed to wording on pkg that said "3 bladed"...cpn ok'd....Next, cpn for $4.50 off wub Crest,paste...and manual toothbrush or floss(something 2 that effect-it is in rcnt Brandsaver insert)...cashier says I have to buy 3 items to use cpn....cashier calls her supv to check who didn't understand it & says I have to buy 3 products..I explained cpn again as it didn't say and for first few items on cpn...yes I has to buy >1 item but not 3....cpn ok'd...I was actually calm looking at the 2 other ppl in line.It seemed others joined the line then left as it was a slow process...By this time I realized the type of person I was dealing with. She then stated that I'm holding up the line...I apologized to the lady behind me & she was ok as she was aware of this cashiers incompetence then trying to make me look bad.i advised I've been cpns 4 yrs. & was never ever told by anyone who really knows me (friends, relatives, teachers, professors, coworkers ,bosses) that I was unorganized ... The nerve of this cashier. I told her the line will continue to be held up since she can't read & understand cpns & have to keep calling supv to check each time...Finally we get to Febreeze products....PM to NF car clips $2.50($2.97 @ WM) + cpn for $1 off any Febreeze product...cashier says cpn can't be used as it has no pic of car..she called supv...supv not sure..asked her to look at the brand(yes it says Febreeze & "car "just beneath....Supv ok'd cpn ... By this time the lady next in line took up her stuff & went to a diff line...got home & realized the PM was not done..Did I mention too that she advanced the belt at one point & everything got squished & a coupon got lost in the process thus messing up my Febreeze purchase...At the end she thanked me & wished me a good day..Really? After an experience like that..DS was fussing & had to get home with car for DH to go to work so I didn't have time to complain....U know what ???... I'll be there tomorrow to lodge my complaint & get my $0.47 + taxes back...I will suggest that she gets retrained & maybe take classes in English(by no means am I putting her down as my DH & parents do not speak English perfectly but when deal g with the public who speak English one should understand documents written in English, even if it is a coupon. What a day ! Honestly, I do feel bad for the cashier...She clearly has issues..

The same walmart AGAIN!!!
omg such a horrible time with that cashier you had.
And the same instance, they did not price match for you today and yesterday the cashier took my 5 coupons and only put in 4.

That $4.50 Crest coupon is really misleading and I still don't understand what it is we have to purchase. I will not use mine for that exact reason.
Sorry about your bad experience.

Very sorry to hear about your bad experience.
Could you find it in your heart to help out a single mother in need. Any donation would be forever appreciated. If you could share the page through the link that would be wonderful too! Thanks so much.

i know how you feel, some cashiers or even supervisors at walmarts just don't know how to treat us coupons in the right way.

the crest coupon, i noticed it too... it's that extra comma between 'crest' and 'paste' that made it confusing. we know what it means, but we can't expect every cashier to interpret it in the same way we do. funny that a big company like p&g doesn't have its proofreader.

Spaghetti is not pasta?
Reminds me of the "Romaine is not a lettuce thread."
http://forum.smartcanucks.ca/145696-...excuse-canada/
I remember being a cashier and once every 4 months we were tested on unusual foods like dragon fruit, quince and lemon grass. But we were never tested on spaghetti.
