Get a PAID app for FREE everyday from Amazon.ca !! (A new app every day!)

For the past couple of years, Amazon.com has offered this feature to its US customers -- Well now, this feature is available to Canadians at Amazon.ca!!

All you need is an Amazon account, and an Android phone or tablet with the Amazon AppStore app installed (see next post for how-to get the app on your device)

Today's free app is the paid version (ad-free) of Cut The Rope Experiments.

To install the Amazon AppStore App on your Android device:

1: Confirm Your Device Allows Installation of apps from "Unknown sources" (ie:other than Google Play)

    - Open Settings and navigate to Unknown sources option (under Applications or Security depending on your device).
If Unknown sources is already checked, you can skip this step.
If unchecked, tap the checkbox and then tap OK on the confirmation

    2: GET THE APP:
From your Android phone or tablet, visit: http://www.amazon.ca/getappstore or scan the QR code below:

    3: INSTALL THE APP
    - Tap/Click the notification on your device and install the app.

4: SIGN IN AND START DOWNLOADING!

    And enjoy your free Apps!

Some people online are complaining they are getting regional restriction messages. This is because they have previously registered a digital device (ie:Kindle) with Amazon.COM (in the US) and configured it as a US-based device.

Simply log in to your Amazon account and check "your account" > Settings > Manage Your Kindle. Follow the instructions to convert your Kindle account to a Canada-based account. (even if you no longer have a kindle, this setting may still be set)

The one draw back to doing that is if you have free books in your US account (I have a pile of them from the pixels of ink newsletter) and you then convert to a canadian account you are not allowed to use those books because of the restrictions.

As with Anisa, I too never lost my books.

Additionally, this does not apply to everyone. A friend of mine has her Kindle as a US-based kindle, but has no problem with the Amazon App Store and the free-app. So she did not have to convert her kindle account.

I can't install APKs from unknown sources on my samsung galaxy. I allowed it in the settings but it still doesn't work.
