I just saw it in the flyer about 18500 bonus points when you spend $75 in store. It will be my first time trying any mega shopping and due to the high prices... I usually avoid SDM. If anyone is planning to shop in that event, it will be great to know what you do and how you do it. Can we use coupons to bring down the final price we pay? Maybe I will buy some big items like Veet roll on kit during this promo and make up that much total (before coupons).

Your total before coupons and tax must be $75. Coupons that are FPC's will not count towards that $75. Some items in this week's flyer that I have my eye on are: Advil Nighttime is $3.99 - $3 or $4 coupons, Voltaren $7.99 - $5 Novartis printable, Greenworks $1.99 - $1.50 printable, and the Veet kit was $14.99 at my Shoppers (so is a money maker). I will buy several of the things I mentioned, and make up the difference in milk, eggs, and bread and have a relatively small OOP.

They can say whatever they want, but for this specific event the staff have no role in adding points -- the points are automatically added by the register.

Here is Shopper's coupon policy: http://files.shoppersdrugmart.ca/cou...guidelines.pdf
Note this particular sentence: Coupons that meet the above requirements, with the exception of coupons for free product, qualify towards the spend threshold for promotional events (20x Event, Tim Hortons Event, etc.).

    Good luck!

Does anyone have a link to $1.50 Greenworks printable? The one I had expired on 31/05, there's nothing on the Clorox site

I was thinking of buying $15 of Glade products and using the $10 off WUB $15. I would like to by one of the Glade Sense and spray refill and one Glade Plugins scented oil refill so I can scan my receipt for checkout 51 and get $6 back.

I was thinking about getting some Crest toothpaste and Oral b toothbrush. The new P&G coupon has a $4.50 coupon when you buy any Crest pro-health OR Crest 3d white toothpaste, Crest 3D white rinse AND Oral B manual toothbrush. So I think you could just buy the Crest Pro health and Oral B toothbrush and save $4.50.

I'm pretty sure you need to buy a toothpaste, a rinse, and a toothbrush for this coupon. There is another coupon that is only for 2 items (can't remember the exact wording or specific items), but the way this one is worded makes me think it is for all three things.

I'm going to hopefully get some vitamins at 50% off, a few grocery items, $15 Glade, and some cleaners. I haven't finished my master list yet, but hopefully will get away with spending around $50 including tax.

I just finished my shop for the 18,500 points I ended up spending $53.47 before taxes (and $62.73 after...gggrrr...)

    Here's my breakdown:

    I bought:
    4 Clorox for $10 minus $4.75 in coupons minus $2.00 Checkout51
Airwick kit - $6.29 minus MIR plus 10x the points
Airwick ribbon candle clearance priced for $4.00 plus 10x points minus $2.00 wub $7.00 of specific Airwick
    Glade refills - $16.98 minus $10 coupon, minus $6.00 Checkout51
2 Lady Speed Stick for $3.98 minus $2.00 coupon plus 750 BPs (which I have to figure out why I didn't get....hhmmm)
Schick Hydro 5 razor clearance priced for $5.00 minus $4.00 coupon that I just got from a train (wooohoooo!!)
2 Loreal mens shave gels clearance priced for $2.00 each (regular $7.99!! WHAT???)
    2 bagged candies - $3.00
    2 Jamieson vitamins 50% off -$17.98
    Nutella (yummmmm) - $4.99

Before taxes, coupons, redemptions = $76.22
    Plus $9.26 tax = $85.48

$62.73 <-- My after tax total after coupons
-$30.00 <-- What my 20,500 earned points would be approximately worth at the highest redemption level (I think....)
    -$8.00 <-- My Checkout51 cash back offers
-$6.29 <-- My MIR for Airwick

Total after all points, coupons, MIRs, and Checkout51 offers - $9.18 before tax or $18.44 after tax
