I went into Marks today with my $10 coupon. I was buying a funky light for $8 and a ice scraper for $3. I got to the cash and the lady told me I couldn't use the coupon for these products....I told her to check with the manager as I've done it before. She showed me a letter that she received from headoffice telling the cashiers to watch the coupons...it seems there are "old" coupons, and "new" coupons...both are save $10, but the new ones list about 30 different things they are NOT good for which include lights and "winter tools" and a pile of other stuff. I explained to her that this one was obviously one of the old ones as it only states no socks, gloves etc. After waiting for the manager to say 'go ahead' the woman says "I'll be glad when they take the old coupon off line...things are so confusing"!! LOL!! as if we don't have copiers! I haven't seen any of the "new" coupons, but I'm making sure I only go in with the "old" ones from now on! Just a "heads up" when ur copying them.
