So I was walking along the end aisles, you know how the milk is against the wall, and I saw this cart with groceries in it and a purse in the front cart with the wallet sticking out. There was no one looking after the cart. There were lots of shoppers and all the ladies around had their purses with them. I was just standing there trying to find out who the cart belongs to. I saw a guy stocking the vegetables so I decided to wheel the cart to the stocker. While I was pushing the cart, this guy comes running over and said that's his cart and wants to know what I was doing. Both him and his wife were at the other end of the aisle looking at items. I told him never to leave your purse there and I was going to take it to the stocker. I told him I was so scared to see the purse there. He was mad at me at first and then thanked me at the end after I explained my actions. But that does not mean they learnt their lesson. I live in an ethnic community and this store is frequented by all walks of life. While going to check out, I saw this lady of the same ethnicity and she had a baby in the cart and a wallet in the front of cart unattended while she looked at items on shelf. I don't know if their culture makes them more trusting of people. There are pickpockets out there and these people are such easy targets. I'm still reeling at what might have happened. Anyways, that's my good deed for the day.

10.5kg frozen vegetables of broccoli, cauliflower and carrots. Box says it's california mixed vegetables. No crappy onion and celery filler.

OOP 18.00. Works out to be 1.71 per kilo.

Those are nice looking veggies and such a good price.
It always amazes me when people don't protect their valuables more.
My purse is always on my person and my coupon binder right in front on me at all times.

I agree OP - about the purse.

I think, if people look at the pics and words at the top of the cart (where the babies would sit), some actually warn "do not leave children and valuables unattended".
