I have a rather..large (like 1/5 of my head size large lol) pink chunk in my hair. Before this, I had a slightly smaller teal one.
Well, DD has always asked me to do hers. Especially when I changed to the pink (this child loooooves her some pink haha). But I tried without bleaching her hair (which the teal worked without me bleaching, but I had to bleach for the pink), and neither colours showed up, just washed right out. And DH and I agree we don't really want to bleach it (the dye I use is plant-based). So, I ordered feather extensions!
I got a kit on Amazon.com for about $7, and used a GC from Swagbucks, paying only $2 OOP.
It arrived today. So since DD is at school, I decided to..test it on myself first lol. I also like blue, so I did a blue grizzly feather on the opposite side of the pink. I did good!
When DD comes home tonight, I'll let her pick her colours (DH said do only 1, but I will allow 2 extensions :p). My guess is..obviously, pink, and she might choose a green (cause the green in there is pretty).
So yay, for saving like...$20+!This thread is currently associated with: Amazon.ca & Amazon.com, Guess

Haha yeah, time seems to fly. x.x
She just gets bigger..and bigger.. And since she finally started daycare, she's TALKING. And man, does this child have an ATTITUDE. A diva attitude, at that.
At camp last week, she only wanted to wear pink. "No mommy, not pink, I wear pink." Child, I only packed 1 pink outfit! Sheesh. lol
And thank you!

She is so pretty, I love her dark hair with the blue feather.

So cute! I have pink hair too and my toddler is nuts about it. There's a temporary wash out product sold at sdm by splat called hair chalk. I might get it to try on dd, but I think I also read somewhere that regular sidewalk chalk works and turns out amazing..also wash out

What a shame! I was looking at Google images pics of hair chalk and some looked nice. I read a couple websites that said the colour can be "set" with a hair dryer or flat iron. I will try it and tell you how it goes!
I think I vaguely remember trying some of these things as a kid, especially the sidewalk chalk in my hair thing... lol
