I need help - plus size (22-24) formal dress needed by Monday

I received a call from a friend who wants me to buy her a replacement maid of honour dress and get it on the plane to her by Monday. Could someone please direct me where in Winnipeg I might find a red/burgundy/pink, 3/4 or full length fancy dress in a size 22 - 24. Are there any second hand places that are good? Winners? Sears? Please don't make me drive downtown. For me, this type of shopping requires medication as it is. I am sooooo grateful in advance if anyone can help.

Sears or David's Bridal.

David's bridal is a bridal store, yes BUT they have great sizes for plus sizes AND tons of sales all the time.

I know you said no downtown driving but honestly, most of bridal stores are located there and you could find good deals. There are some bridal stores around the Bay such as Vaughan/Graham Mall corner or Stella Bridal near U. Winnipeg at 516 Portage where last time on their clearance days I bought some dresses for only 25$ each. I also recalled there is a bridal store on Portage opposite to MTS Centre which displays a window poster of only 299$ wedding dress something so it's worth checking out.

thank you for your suggestions! I called every bridal place downtown and nothing in that size and color. Went to 10 different stores including some thrifts and value village. All the order in's or online ones will not be here in time. So went to fabric land and bought a pattern and fabric. When all else fails..... make one.
