Did anyone receive $10 yet? I'm still waiting on payment.

The university studies have always paid from my experience. "IF" this is a legit U of Waterloo study, I'm sure if you were in the first 60 to complete the study you & me will get paid?

Nothing in my PayPal account, seeming very sketchy, they took my info, if they were over quota they should have shut the link down IMHO otherwise it seems like a scam...

I did this survey too, it never said they were over quota or that I wasn't being included in the 60 people who were to be paid. No email yet, and nothing in my paypal account. I'll wait a few weeks still, but guessing I'll just have to write it off as wasted time. I do wonder though how the research ethics board at Waterloo/the psychology department would feel about a researcher promising payment and then not delivering... would be pretty fast and easy to shoot a quick email off to waterloo or to the chair of the psychology department, contact info for that kind of thing is readily available online.

Maybe the original poster Konrad could shed some light on the situation? They did not elaborate whether all 60 to complete it would be compensated. I agree that if there was a limit imposed it should have & may have closed after the first 60. I definitely do not believe that if this was a legit UOW study that they would not honor their offer of compensation. To me that would be the only question is it a legit study or not.

Usually studies like this have a disclosure at the beginning or end with the information about the study and who is overseeing it. The contact information is usually put into that disclosure.
The study should have had some type of counter on it or been pulled when the number of valid questionaires had been completed. That is poor planned on their part.

I believe it did have that usual disclosure sort of page, with the professor's name and email address, and with the university logo. Problem is that I didn't screenshot it or anything, and my memory is too hazy to remember the name as it was several weeks ago. Also it was a Qualitrics survey, which I find it pretty standard for the university ones.
