Trying to decide whether to try to get a deal for the next week at the same cottage we rented a few weeks ago - it was pretty nice and my daughter wants to go back - I would too but there are things going on here and will the weather be worth it?? looks okay but not real hot...hmmmm what to do

First, it Really is a Case of the Summertime Blues.
Feel it Every Labour Day.

My Shoulders (both) have been very Sore for a few Months now.
Seems to get Worse.
Have not had a Solid Night's Sleep in Ages!!

Went to my Doc on Friday and was sent for X-Rays a Ultrasound.
That Appointment is this coming Saturday.
My Doc is off for 2x weeks, so it might be a Month before I Hear.
Oh We'll...
I've waited for Months... I can wait for 1 or 2 more.

Good luck on the test results Wolfie!! Hopefully they can figure out what's wrong so that you can sleep well again.....

I hear you with the summertime blues..... happens to me every year about this time when we have to put the boats away.... we managed to put some "big" stuff away for the season while it was still dry this morning, but we didn't get everything done that we wanted to do before the rain came... another excuse to spend another week-end up north!! We have our annual street party next Friday night, so I'll see if I go up for a part week-end next weekend....

we came home early today because of the rain up north this morning... it gave me a chance to dig into my gardens at home...... I dug out a big recycling bag of weeds from my gardens this afternoon (and my gardens at home aren't that big.... )

Happy Labour Day Q sters,
the day started out very cloudy & dreary, but then the sun came out & got very warm for a while. later this afternoon it got cloudy, but never rained. it got a lot colder though. finished clearing a bunch of junk out of the basement & installed 4 shelving units to put rodent's stuff on. the spare room is almost empty. once stuff is out, she can move her ferret out of the closet to the other end of the room & i can put the closet organizer in & put the summer clothes in there. next will be putting her stuff from the living room on the shelves so i can get that room put back to normal. made some sloppy joes for dinner, then took a hot bubble bath to relax to sore muscles. feeling better & a lot cleaner.
hope everyone enjoy their Labour Day long weekend. it's back to work tomorrow & traffic jams. it was nice not having a lot of cars on the highway.

sorry to hear about your sore shoulder & sleepless nights. have you tried a heating pad to help relax the shoulder area before bed? i find it helps with my lower back when i've over done it.

yes Lee I'm sure you are really feeling the "Summertime Blues" too, having to give up all the weekends up north soon I always feel bad when the cool air starts coming in - man summer just ain't long enough that's for SURE!!!!

- well there ain't no cure for the summertime blues..........
