This is a delayed brag... I bought this lens for my cheap low end Canon Rebel last spring for $89 at Best Buy (reg $129). It is amazing, I cannot believe the value.
It is fixed at 50mm, no zoom and is a little fussy with auto focus, but it is glorious in all situations including when it is dark.

Each of these pics was done during my testing, I spent no time preparing and used NO post processing, NO filters and I left the camera on auto mode (no flash).

If you have a Canon Rebel (I'm actually a Nikon user) this miracle lens might bring you lots of joy!

Thanks! Seriously, I had such low expectations for this lens, I did not even try hard. Just wanted a lens that would fit on my carry on for flights. This lens is wonderful, I even tried portraits (no permission to post) and they were amazing!

I use this lens all the time~ Best $100 I've ever spent. Glad you feel the same way!

P.S. Try flipping the lens around for some macro fun
(You'll have to hold it to your camera body)

Funny you mention that. I have done that a few times. Practice for night shots. I found some gems in the middle of no where without light pollution. Those things are wonderful!
