Dec 20 Zellers Scores!!

I'm SO excited!

I just got back from an AWESOME Zellers trip! Now, normally I hate the place, but it was a fantastic experience:

First of all.. their clearance clothing is 40% off the sale price right now... I took a quick look and my jaw dropped- I raced to the change room with a cart of clothing, and left the store with $201 of maternity shorts/tops [9 items!] for... $37 [tax included]! Seriously, if anyone has remotely recently checked out the prices of maternity items, you'd know how great of a deal that was. I got four pairs of shorts and 5 t-shirts/tanktops. We are trying for our second child next month, so these will be very handy this summer! [I still can't believe this score!]

Secondly, I also found two bottles of J&J hairwash for $1.19! {this is the buddies line in a yellow pump container with the sink on the front}... with $1 coupon, only .19cents each!

Thirdly I found a red glitter christmas ball... 50% off .49cents... so less than a quarter! it looks great on the tree

And fourthly... and almost the best part of it all... the cashier I had was fantastic [this is normally why I hate Zellers]. He was a youngish guy, a cutie, with a british accent. he was friendly, happy, and a good conversationist [is this even a word?]. He was great! I filled out one of their forms to let management know how impressed I was with him. Hopefully he'll get something good out of it.

And the last great thing? I used a coupon and got an additional 30,000 points, PLUS 100 points because I brought my own bag!



Great trip. My hubby was quite impressed by my clothing haul. I wish I could find a couple of cute t-shirts that i could wear NOW for $3.60 or less like the ones today. Oh well, soon enough!

i got a pyjama set at zellers yesterday. all of the clearance was an additional 40% off. The top was 2.00 and the bottoms were 5.10!!!
