Get 1-Year of PlayStation Plus membership for $29.99(US) ... no tax (reg. $49.99)

    HERE'S HOW:
Amazon.com (US) has a BLACK FRIDAY special... 1 Year of PlayStation Plus for $29.99 (40% off)

Order from the link above (see "hoops" below) and Amazon will present you with a Digital Code you can enter on your PlayStation network account on your PS3, PS4, or PS Vita.

Even if you already have a membership, applying this code will extend it by a year. -- I've bought a couple of codes and I'm all membershipped up until 2016 now.

CAUTION: Dollar-value PS Codes ($20 and $50) purchased this way are NOT usable in Canada... but most DLC games and this PS+ membership are.

"Hoops" you might have to jump through:

1.) For those who have never used the Amazon.com site: You can use your Amazon.ca login information to sign in.

2.) You will need to create a US based mailing address as a shipping address on your account. (My recommendation is to use any one of the many drop-site or broker addresses - I have provided one below). But it doesn't matter because it doesn't need to be connected to your credit card in any way... and they won't be mailing anything to you.

3.) When you place the order, it will probably tell you that it's not available to customers outside of the USA. Simply change the address (just below the order total) to your US address, then you'll be able to complete the order.

Using a Maine address won't incur taxes. I'm not sure about other states. Below is the address of a parcel drop-site in Calais, Maine:

    <your name>
    482 North Street
    Calais, ME, USA
    04619-1111

This is the parcel drop-site I use... as do thousands of others.

NOTE: Sometimes it can take a few minutes to generate the code. Be patient. The codes are generated on the fly and can take some time. You might see this in the process:

Just an FYI and follow up for anyone who might have taken part in this offer...

I know it works, I did it twice. But The PlayStation Network (PSN) is having admitted difficulties with people redeeming online codes.

Be patient, if you have a code and it's not working... it will. Here's the word direct from the PlayStation Blog:

    PlayStation Network Update
    Posted: 29 Nov 2013 07:50 PM PST
We are aware that users are experiencing some disruption to the PSN service. To minimize the inconvenience we have suspended the “redeem voucher” functionality while we investigate further. Unfortunately this means that money cards, product vouchers, PlayStation Plus vouchers, PS3-PS4 upgrade vouchers and any other vouchers for digital content are not redeemable at this time. Other PSN features such as log in, online multiplayer gaming, PlayStation Plus trials, PlayStation Store (excluding voucher redemption), Trophies, messages, friends, etc are all available.
We apologize for the inconvenience and will provide an update soon.
