Also noticed that shopping in the USA, every cashier said "How was your Christmas? Did you find everything you wanted? Happy New Year." (Here, sometimes you get grumpy Grinches)

The store and parking lot was packed, packed, packed. All cashiers were organized. All purchases were bagged or put on hangers and wrapped like in a garment bag.Very friendly sales staff.

I saw a 8 box pizza delivery -- that was for the staff working today.

I went to the States on Boxing Day, Deals,Deals and more Deals!! I didn't need anything but I couldn't leave things there!! The mall is small where I go in Massena NY, but it's fine..my favourite store is the Bon -Ton, they sent me a 20% coupon off mostly anything in the store, 15% off cosmetics...this coupon is good for door busters as well!! They also had coupons spend $25.00 get $10.00 off, regular or sale items..My daughters like the Nicki Minaj perfume, in Canada, the big box was $89.00 before Christmas,in the States it was $67.00 but it was 50% off plus my extra coupon(good on cosmetics) it came to $28.00. My daughter noticed that they had 2 big Nicki Minaj purses, so I asked if you get one with your purchase, she said sure, my daughter couldn't decide if she wanted black or pink, so the cashier said she could have both!! That would never happen here, they probably wouldn't even let you have one unless it was a regular priced item!! Heated blanket reg,$200 for $49 less 20%..then I noticed men looking at this remote control helicopter with a built in video camera, reg $150.00 was 75% off less my coupon! showed my husband he liked it so bought that.. Bought watches, jeweller, candles (jewellery in the states is very expensive normally) but with 75% off and coupons it was good..Going back Jan.3 to bring my daughters friend to the airport, she is visiting from Boston..that's another huge deal airfare from Massena or Ogdensburg she paid $175 return trip..once I checked for Ottawa to Boston it was over $600, the amount can be anywhere from $450 to $1000, crazy!!
