Patty Smyth posted an awesome brag about her Target deals.
http://forum.smartcanucks.ca/375677-...70-a-canada-4/
Went to get the gift sets and such. Tried to check out and the cash register kept flashing. Ooops. Broke Target's machine (or the machine took a break
).
Great cashier just took the order to a better cash. Of course, another cashier took the line that was forming behind. Everybody was happy*
.
Nivea limited edition gift set, regular $14.xx, clearance price $9.97, scanned at $6.99

Felt Christmas "boxes", regular $6.99, sale $0.69
Gift bags, regular $1.00, sale $0.10
Lindt 3 pack Christmas chocolates, regular $1.09, sale $0.53 (expires Sept. 2014)
Pink boxing glove glitter manicure set, regular $4.99, sale $1.49
Purell mini Christmas hand sanitizer with strap, regular $1.49, sale $0.44
Punched metal Christmas tray with snowflake pattern, regular $2.99, sale $0.69
Wanted more but looking for more price discounts in the next week or so.
Thanks for the inspiration Patty Smyth and the other Great Smart Canuckers (you know who you are)
*Target's cashiers are really great. Really calm, well trained and good problem solvers. I e-mailed Target yesterday to tell them so.

Shwa!! Congrats, not on breaking the machines, but you know, the deals!! These posts about Target have really inspired me to start a relationship with them soon. When I start needing certain things again, I'm there!!

Awesome deal on the nivea.
I agree with the cashiers at Target. I've never had a problem with them and using coupons. And there is always a lot of staff on the floor to help.
I love Target and would rather go there than Walmart.

Went to a second Target.
Bought imported mineral water gift sets.
It would probably be cheaper next week but there were only a few and I already have a person in mind for this.

Oh my...What can I say when machines are being broken @ Target by SC members? Awesome shop...I'll be looking out for those Nivea gift sets ...haven't seen any so far in Brampton but not surprised.
