Great to see Maurice back behind the bench. He's a great guy. Hope they keep him around long enough for a Jets turn around. Won't happen this year but maybe in a few. As long as ownership is willing to commit to players and salaries.

Holy crap RHL, what's wrong with your Canucks? They're almost as bad as my Leafs. The last few games have been horrible for them. That 9-1 drubbing by Anaheim the other night was shocking and then to get shut out by the Yotes last night? Yikes!!!
Big game for the Leafers tomorrow night. Nothing like a Habs/Leafs game on a Saturday night on HNIC.
Maybe the Cancuks will get back to their winning ways against Calgary. It's Hockey Day in Canada.

My team is going through a rough time at the moment....not sure what's up.....I think they tried to be a rough & tough team vs LA and they went through an identity crisis the next day against Anaheim. We are definitely having a problem with offence ........and defence lol
Blueliner Dan Hamhuis scored three goals in the last 2 games....unfortunately it was on his own goalie......

and thanks to Martin Hanzal for the high sticking on three of our players at the end of the game......at least he was assessed a fine.

You know you're having issues when the best player the last two games is the same guy who was a healthy scratch in the three previous games : /

We are back home now and hopefully can get some wins vs some weaker teams...if they lose vs Calgary Sat night, I'm not quite sure what I'm going to do. On a positive note, re-sale ticket prices will probaby be on the decline.

Iam going to give a shout out to Ben Scrivens here on his awesome shut out game last night stopping 59 shots for a complete shutout and breaking an NHL record!!! Well played my friend, well played!

What a crazy year for Canadian teams.

Disappointments:
Oilers *sigh* well, got the goaltending fixed. Now the Defense. Will fans be patient for our promising young D to develop?
Senators -more tweaking.
Jets -Winnipegers deserve better. I'd start with the goalie.
Leafs -maybe Reimer needs to go to Winnipeg...

Surprises:
Flames! -impressed with how they tried every night. Really like that Monahan kid

Shock:
Canucks -from one of the best goalie tandems to ...what happened? Injuries didn't help. Core is still good, so there's that.

Hopeful: Canadiens!
