Thread: Sunbeam Heated Blanket
-
Tue, Jan 14th, 2014, 09:11 PM #16
My Target didn't have the Sunbeam blankets anywhere near the Christmas stuff that was 90% off - they were on an end in the blanket section and not 90% off. More like $25 for a twin, $50 something for a double, $70 for a King...

They are not 90% as they are not Christmas items. the sales associate gave the wrong info. So nobody else will be able to get a similar deal. I think at the moment they are 30 or 50% off and it won't be anytime soon till they get to 90% . But still you got great deal OP.

my store would not give it! Even some of the xmas gift ideas where the whole stack was on the 90% off shelf they fought me tooth and nail. I have never had to debate at target so i dropped the stuff, bought the other items that rang in and said forget it. I was only going to buy them for donations.

They wouldn't give you the blankets? The blankets weren't 90% off. And I"m not sure what the xmas gift ideas are you are talking about, but there are still some items that aren't 90%. For example the mini pool tables, air hockey tables, and those sort of gift things are not 90R% off.

Is the OP instructing everyone to force CS to give the blankets for 90% off because they are near the other stuff??

Was at target today price checked the queen size and it scanned $38.xx I think. They were labelled with the clearance sticker at $6x.xx. Thought I would check to see if they were 90% off yet. Still waiting for a lower price until I purchase one.

They are 70% off. These items don't go 90% off so they will be gone it you wait.

yup, had the same thing happened to me here too, the CSM will not overide some mini felt Xams baskets with a reg price of $1, and its scanning at $.30! I asked her if they should be $.10 being 90% like the rest of the Xams stuff, she said no, whatever price it scans at that is the price. the basket is obviously Xams stuff, it had santa and snowflakes on them placed at the dollar zone. I even told her if she can adjust the price I will buy all of them(which I thought they wanted to get rid of their Xams stuff), but the answer is still NO. it kinda got me disappointed since i drove all the way there just to get on some 90% off deals...o well....but now i know the over-riding and price adjusting is very YMMV. Its better to just wait until its actually being 90% off or its scanning at a 90% off price. unless you live very close to target that you can go at different times with different cashiers or CSMs to see who will do an over ride for you. humm...that would be great if I can do that, hahaha...
