Lot of people just go to Ikea just to eat their food & not to buy their furniture
So if you have one in your area , drop by . The food quality is pretty nice for the price they charge
http://www.ikea.com/ca/en/catalog/ca...artments/food/
Cinnamon Bun & Coffee Combo for $ 2
75 cent Hot Dog
Plus I think they have Unlimited Refills Soft Drink for $ 1.00

These are great deals and the food is great...but where's the fine print??
Saw one of these IKEA deals before where the fine print made me laugh - Every Monday (only on Mondays that are not holidays, valid between Feb 13-21).
Or something like that!

Don't forget you also get free coffee or tea Mon-Fri when you show your Family Card!! We go to Ikea often!! The breakfast is an absolutely amazing deal!!! Usually costs about $10 for my family of 4 to have breakfast there. Dinner is great as well!!!

Ikea is smart.
This is the same strategy Costco uses. Their hot dogs are + drink special for $1.99, for example.
Two really smart companies

We went there for lunch two Saturdays ago. Not too impressed... dried up pasta that was sticking together for the kids' meals, and a bland Caesar Salad with bland chicken breast on top for me. I did enjoy the breakfast when we went one morning last summer, though! Costco hot dogs are delicious! I've sometimes gone and picked up our Friday supper there after work!

I could have swore the meatball deal was $2.99 at the North York (Ontario) location!
Once or twice a month my mum and I like to eat an early dinner there, free coffee included. We leave STUFFED.
Sometimes we share 15 pieces w/ fries and extra gravy as a snack then walk it off shopping...haha.

I have ordered food for me and my kids before over the past 10 years approx at Burlington Ikea and every time the food was awful. It may be cheap but when you cant eat it,its no deal imo!!lol WE rarely go to Ikea but we do know to stick to the hot dog or the ice cream! Now the food at the IKEA In Sweden is great, the quality, products used are excellent.

I am glad IKEA Burlington is staying put at its location! On the bus route and its presence anchors the rest of the retail area.
RE: restaurant-it's fine when the place is less than half full as it has different seating arrangements and lots of light from the windows. I have not pursued the breakfast deals but tried the meatballs and ligonberry sauce. Love the cinnamon rolls downstairs at the exit from cash--warm rolls are a lure!
When the restaurant is busy, the drink glasses are wet on the dishwasher racks because the restaurant customers go through the glasses and dishes quickly.
Now if only their textile selection had more lively colours, I could go shopping right after lunch!2021-Bring on the sunshine, sweets & online shopping.

Free baby food with meal (over $5 ) pretty good and free coffee refills as well. Nice nursing room for breastfeeding too.
