Shopped at Wal Mart, London Drugs, Safeway + Target for these deals. Got into an argument with WM manager & cashier, both who insisted that "one coupon per purchase" meant "one coupon for my overall transaction"

x1 Clean & Clear cleanser ($3 printable coupon)

How did your Walmart conversation end up? I have been given the same line by cashiers at Safeway and RCSS. I usually just give up and try again later with another cashier because they are consistently inconsistent!

It was terrible...but I wasn't letting them win lol. I had 5 shampoos and 5 tearpad coupons. Cashier takes out a magnifying glass, reads the coupons and goes it says "one coupon per purchase." I picked up one shampoo container, and with a dumb look on my face, said this is one purchase, I have 5, so they're 5 purchases. She gives me attitude and calls over her manager. Her manager reads the coupon and tells me "your only supposed to take one of these coupons from tearpads." I asked her where it said that, and at this point both the cashier and manager raised their voices to attract attention, and potentially scare me. I told them if they were that dumb, I could pull out the definition of a purchase and transaction from google. Manager got tired of arguing and said "just put them thru," and walked off. While the cashier continued giving me attitude and I told her I'd be talking to head office about the two of them, to which she replied "go ahead, it won't do anything to us." Oh well, despite all the humiliation and trouble they tried to put me through, I was able to get through Funny thing, I had the same argument with the same manager the night before.

Both were on clearance at Target.
The clean & clear was for $5 and Febreze was $1.19. Just note that the Febreze isn't marked on clearance, so just scan it to make sure.
