PriceMatch Question - WalMart

I just tried to price match at walmart with a Safeway flyer and they told me that they do not price match club prices because they do not have the original price of the item...I guess that means they will never match safeway prices because that is the only sales that safeway has. Anybody ever experience this problem??

I always find that all Walmarts are different, and even though it may be Corprate policy, it is not always store policy.

I've never had a problem PMing a Safeway flyer at my local Walmart. Just did it last week for some cheep toothpaste and Pit-stick

Could someone please explain price matching to me?

When the flyer says "Selected varieties, between sizes "40g and 65g" and they show a couple picture, do most companies only PriceMatch by the picture, or how does that work?

If it says "Assorted" then they Price Match to a close description? I'm not really sure what this all means.

Mine actually price matched a Safeway one for me on Saturday.

Every time I go to WM I always ask a CS before I go shopping just to make sure it is ok to pm something, I always go to the same store, there is only one here and it is always different grrr,
