AIR MILES® Toolbar - (currently no AMs offered w/ this)

Toolbar never works for me, I have to uninstall and reinstall it every month just so you new people know. I sent support an email about this recently.

The tool bar works well for me! I usually get credited for searches within the following month.

I`ve been lucky. I did have problems the first month I used it, a few glitches (had to re-install it twice) & it didn`t register (& I lost those points). Since then, it`s been working fine. I usually get the points credited at either the end of the following month or the middle of the month after that (ie I got Oct points mid Dec, but I got Dec points today).

I get credited every month too, but it's from having to uninstall and reinstall it all the time. I am determined to get those air miles, but it just takes some work.

I guess its hit and miss if you install the toolbar. Some people here have had glitches, and some, like me have had none. The only problem I had was on January 1st, my searches weren't showing up then.

I reinstalled it, and installed a new firefox update in case that was causing the problems. It worked fine last night, then I got up to 286 searches and now it stopped again.

I'll tell you what the problem probably is.... I complete my 300 searches too fast and they are trying to prevent me from finishing up quickly. They are tracking what you search for, what websites you frequent etc and if they don't credit you for every search, you will still keep searching hoping to get credited and they get more tracking from it.

Yep. yesterday they stopped crediting me. :shrug:

I just uninstalled and installed again and got my 300 searches in, just in time.

For anyone that may be wondering. If you uninstall and reinstall, it will remember how many searches you had done prior, so you don't have to worry about starting over. Trust me I know. ;)

It does for me. Also try and restart your computer and see if it is still messing up, then do the uninstall and reinstall thing.

You know, I may the only one around who's never had trouble. I've been using it for about 3 months now and have never had to uninstall it. Always gotten credited and worked fine...odd. Opps, hope I didn't just jinx myself :p Knocking on wood! haha

Yep, it's great if you haven't got problems with it, cause it's a pain in the neck fiddling with it so much, but it's an easy 30 AM a month, so I keep it up. I installed it waaay back too.
