AIR MILES® Toolbar - (currently no AMs offered w/ this)

I saw this in another forum and thought i would share this here.

You can earn Air Miles by doing searches. All you have to do is install this a toolbar onto your IE or Fire Fox.

For every 50 (valid) searches, you get 5 Air Miles. Max. 30 Air Miles a month. These points will be added to your account within 60 days.

Okay, so I tried this the whole day and so far I got 15 Air Miles. Not bad.

Few things I have noticed. I don't really understand what "valid" searches are, BUT I tried "smart canucks" and "smartcanucks" and both counted as 1 search for each.

If you try to search for the same thing again, the second time won't count. Example, you try to search for "coupons" and then "coupon", it won't work. However, sometimes it does work if you give it 5 min. (could be a glitch)

No, you don't have to click on the links in the results. I sometimes just type random words for the whole 5 min. to see if that works, and well...it does. Very easy to earn 30 Air miles a month.

I also noticed that if you restart your computer, you can redo your searches all over again. Example, you search for "freebies" (you get 1 search), restart computer and search for "freebies" again, it'll count as 1.

I'm using Fire Fox, so this may or may not work IE. I have not tried it yet.

Oh oh! Don't you hate it when you see a good deal online, you buy it but forgot you can collect Air Miles with it? Well no more worries! There's a feature on the toolbar where it will kindly remind you, that you can collect Air Miles on that particular website.

Example of use. If you belong to wellness and read the news each day like I do highlight the news report title you are reading put it in the top left search near the airmiles sign(on another tab) hit search and go to the actual story. You will earn one search point towards miles as well as your wellness points. Now to work in swag at the same time:shrug:

I even CTRL-F 'd it and typed in download....not on there

i'm sorry, i don't really understand what the problem is here?

do you mean when you click on the link to download the toolbar, there's no "button" to download it?

if i'm right, you need the latest adobe flash in order for it to work.

if you have it, once you click on the link it will ask you your air miles card number, and then it'll have a button for you to download..or a popup will show (lol, i don't remember...)

but i know this does work. i was chatting with another sc member about the toolbar and i know she has it working.

when i click the link there isn't a download button for me to click on
