dont be too optimistic. i went today with old coupon they would not let me use it on the stuff excluded on the new coupon. even shoe laces and insoles, which are not on the new exclusion list, are now excluded. the cashier has a new list they just got from corporate office, and its more extensive than the one on the new coupon.

its pathetic that a company as big as marks is doing this, changed the conditions not once once, but twice, they may as well just pull the coupon or increase the min spend. i am just ticked cuz they don't post this in the store, you dont know until you are at the til and they turn you down until you show up there with the "right" stuff.

what drama at mmw today ... i know this post may seem very selfish of me because i've had alot of great deals at mmw lately .. but today ... none of their cashiers knew how to deal with this coupon .. one was willing to combine all of them, another seperate transactions and another one was arguing one coupon only (he was right,, right??) anyway ... to make a long story short ... i told them they have crap management because if there is a hot coupon out there their staff should all be on the same page with how to deal with it. We've been to two stores in the city and each of these stores treats them differently and the cashiers also all have their own ideas .. again .. i'm sorry if i sound greedy but i was really frustrated!

I wrote them regarding all the changes in their policy and how they wouldn't post these changes in the stores. shoppers basically wont know til they are at the till, i am not too happy about that. i mean, at least if i know whats excluded i won't use the coupon for those items, but I DON'T. it's frustrating.

we're still using the old coupons ... the cashier said they are aware of the new one but still have to honor the old one too until it is expired .. i got a scarf

I went to marks yesterday and had no problem using one coupon. The cashier was very helpful and pleasant, which I found refreshing.

I went on Friday night. I had some new coupons and one old coupon. So I asked to do 2 transactions and he said okay but then read the coupon and said I couldn't b/c of the rules. So I pulled out the old coupon and asked if could use one new and one old and he said yes.

But then the coupon's wouldn't scan and he didn't want to honour them..said my printer was printing right (????? -- I work for a large company and used their printers..whatever buddy). So then the girl next to him told him to type it in and at first he wouldn't try it but then did and it worked.

So I got
1. 19.99 sweater for 9.99
2. 9.99 shirt plus a reusable bag for 1.11 after taxes.

I have a few more coupons I might try going to see if I can find anything....

i went today and got the same girl as last week went she let me use four. Today i only used one on a shirt reg. 19.99-10..=9.99 and she made me write my name on the coupon. She they they were trying to keep track, so next time i will write a different name since it is none of their business and i am paying with cash.

They made you write your name..that's odd...they actually ripped my coupons up once they keyed them in and threw them in the garbage.
