Definite eye rolling - I really ticked her off with my money-saving. I felt really bad for her husband though. He was totally silent through all her barbs and was avoiding eye contact with me!

Way to go with staying calm and polite, despite the negative attitudes of your cashier and the woman in line behind you.

Some stores need to re-train their employees in the area of PR. It makes a huge difference in whether or not customers will return. I've discovered that, at most Target stores in my area, the staff aka "team members" are super-friendly and make you feel very welcome. It makes shopping MUCH more pleasant for everyone.

Great brag and good for you to not lower yourself to their level. Some people are just narrow minded and have a really negative view of couponing..........if they were handing out cash, I'm sure she would have stood in line just as long to get some (and couponing is just like receiving free money). As for the cashier, I really wish they could keep their personal feelings out of it. She was wrong, just apologize and move on....no need to be (b) itchy about it
