Have you won a forum contest? That's normally one of the ways the admins pay out. It doesn't seem to be a field you have to fill in so I never bothered.

A long time ago there was a program for earning money (not sure if it was based on referrals or posting or what) and the profile asked how you wanted to be paid. Is that what you're referring to?

Last time I updated my info I wondered why that area was still there since there is no incentive type program anymore. Maybe it's just left over from before and its not really needed....

Is this what you're asking about? Because I think it has to do with the old incentive program (it hasn't been running for quite a while now). Pretty sure you can just leave it blank. If not opt for cheque.

SC used to offer cashback for shopping, referral bonuses and gifts when you got to a certain number of posts and the profile set up has never been changed.
It is an optional box and doesn't need to be filled in (same as address box)
