Walmart deal and a word of caution - 13 Jan

I went into Walmart and none of the glade things were reduced, no $5 coupons on anything either. I have a love/hate relationship with Walmart, so I had to buy something on principle. I got:

8 glade air fresheners $1.98 ea, used 8 x $2 coupons = they paid me 16c
2 pairs boys winter boots reduced from $20 to $5 = saved $30

Shopping total $55.84, I paid $12.15 and saved $43.69!!!!

Now a word of caution!!! I saw lots of things in bins with the big 97c stickers on them (the ones that ring up at 25c). So I grabbed about 20 pairs socks as we go through a lot. I decided to check a pair on the scanner before going to the checkout and they all scanned in for 97c. So if you are hoping they will scan for 25c, check first or you may be disappointed when it comes to pay.

In the mens section they were at the end of an isle. In the kids sections they were hidden under clothes rails.

I noticed that too...grabbed bunch of socks, hoping that they'll scan at 0.25, but my bad...they were still scanning at 0.97!!!

I was the one who posted about the .25 socks and undies.

I have checked out 3 other Walmarts and the exact same clearance stickers they use at my Walmart are used at the other ones.

At all 3 other Walmart locations they scan at .97, the only one I've found that scans at .25 is Newmarket Walmart.
