The Royal Ontario Museum (ROM) is pleased to announce CIBC as Inaugural Season Sponsor of the Michael Lee-Chin Crystal. A media conference was held today in the Museum’s CIBC Discovery Gallery to provide the details of this year-long partnership, which kicks off at the Architectural Opening and Building Dedication ceremonies of the new addition to the Museum on the evening of Saturday, June 2, 2007. On that night and the following day (Sunday, June 3), CIBC will offer the public free admission to the Museum, to celebrate the opening of this important new cultural icon in Toronto.

Hey Blistex! Funny you should say that... the SC site has a place where you can do exactly that (mark calendars, not travel to Ontario)
There is a Calendar feature -menu bar just left of centre- that lets you input the information on events and such. Keeps them nice and neat in one place, and they expire all on their own (less work for our poor moderators)
http://www.forum.smartcanucks.ca/calendar.php
So, anyone travelling to Ontario (aka Center of the Universe), they will be able to see what is happening on those dates.
Future threads of this kind should go in the Calendar, instead of the Freebies section. Thanks!

It's going to be quite good. I live and work in this area, so I got to see some of the rehearsals for tomorrow's concert.
If anyone is going to this, keep in mind that Bloor St. W will be CLOSED between St. George and Avenue from now until Sunday. Would suggest the TTC, or parking on the U of T campus ($5-6)

Ok, looks like these are two separate events... one that requires tickets and the other that doesn't.
