You get the idea: One person may print and spend one coupon. You understand the offer because you are not a sociopath. Heroes on the sociopathic networking sites and smartcanucks.ca told of using 37 coupons in one store -- each transaction just over the minimum amount -- and coming away with hundreds of dollars worth of merchandise (mugs, flashlights, stockingstuffers) for next to nothing. They were printing more coupons for tomorrow, when they would plunder every Mark's Warehouse in driving distance. Not five days into the promotion, the terms had been revised. Added to the exclusion list were Burt's Beeswax, golf tools, earplugs and bags. This thread is currently associated with: N/A

odd article. Sociopaths? Going a little far with that term. I'm not sure the author knows the true definition of a sociopathic person...

Sociopaths??? I am writting a letter to that author. Many of us on here don't do that. We encourage people to not flood a company so that others can have a chance.
We are not a sociopathic website! We are a bunch of lower or middle class people with families trying to survive the best way we know how! Saving money on essentials means that we can afford to take our kids to get that treat for a good report card, or save up enough to put them through dance lessons!
Sociopaths my foot! As if I need one more bad label put on me!Remember that even though pets are here for such a short time they teach us things we would never be able to learn in many lifetimes on our own.

the National Post is such an awful 'publication' - we used to get it for free when I was at the University of Waterloo and I still wouldn't read it Or maybe I would if I wanted to feel particularly annoyed that day..

Kevin Baker seems to enjoy writing controversial articles:

Honestly the persons just an idiot.
Oh well what its the stars say.
Any publicity is good publicity.
We don't censor if someone wants to use 37 coupons, we would think they can use their own judgement, you cant really judge a website by such a minute number that go against the grain.
Obviously just by his spacing and how jumbled it is hes a shock jock and not a very good writer.
I hope he realizes how many thousands upon thousands of people he just insulted.
I also think his cowriters need to hand him a thesauras. Lmao.Last edited by Sally888; Sun, Dec 14th, 2008 at 12:37 AM.

That article is extremely insulting !
I doubt he read posts of people claiming to have raided and striped the shelves bare of any store here on smartcanucks.
To me this journalist is the one that is sick and obviously doesn't need to clip coupons and watch for sales to get what he needs !!!
