Hello... I am a new member from Midland, Ontario. Have over 35 years home cooking experience. Now retired, am looking to exchange cooking ideas, help out with problems etc. I also had the luxury of my grandmother and mother's excellent cooking, recipes and experience to assist along the way. I am most interested in back to basic recipes, stuff you don't need to spend mega $ to prepare, can do with regular pantry items, less expensive cuts of meat etc. Like so many other's I'm on a budget and with the rising cost of food these day, I've found some very good budget concious ideas and recipes that I can share.
