Is this the state of the union?
Splinters In CrotchA woman from Los Angeles who was a tree hugging, liberal and an anti-hunterpurchased a piece of timberland near Colville , WA . There was a large treeon one of the highest points in the tract. She wanted a good view of thenatural splendor of her land so she started to climb the big tree. As sheneared the top she encountered a spotted owl that attacked her. In her hasteto escape, the woman slid down the tree to the ground and got many splintersin her crotch. In considerable pain, she hurried to a local ER to see adoctor. She told him she was an environmentalist, a Democrat, and ananti-hunter and how she came to get all the splinters. The doctor listened to her story with great patience and then told her to gowait in the examining room and he would see if he could help her. She satand waited three hours before the doctor reappeared. The angry womandemanded, "What took you so long?" He smiled and then told her, "Well, I hadto get permits from the Environmental Protection Agency, the Forest Service, and the Bureau of Land Management before I could remove old-growth timberfrom a 'recreational area' so close to a waste treatment facility. I'msorry, but due to Obama-Care they turned you down."

I went to see American Sniper the other night. Really good movie, Bradley Cooper did a good job portraying Chris Kyle. Lots of action. Such a horrible ending for him after going through 4 tours and coming back home to stay this time only to be killed by a guy he knew. He was only helping the guy out for the afternoon and gets shot and killed by him, after all the battles he went through to have it all end like that............and his poor family, the stress his wife must have gone through everytime he went away........
I'm reading the book as well......
