how does SCOP work do I need to wait for the cashier to print my receipt or as soon as I saw the scanned price is wrong I'll say SCOP? even if the adjust the price?

I think it may vary, depending on store and cashier. Before this shop I had only got one SCOP before from SDM and I was told once the transaction goes through they will do a refund. This time, it got deducted as it was rung in(walmart).
