Peel region hosts free paper-shredding event tomorrow
Mississauga News By Nouman Khalil
Looking to get rid of piles of old bills and papers?
Tomorrow, the Region of Peel is inviting residents to drop off their confidential papers for free shredding at the Fewster and Brampton Community Recycling Centres.
At the one-day free shredding event, residents are encouraged to bring items such as tax papers, bills, income statements, personal information as well as expired driver’s licenses and health cards.
Regular disposal fees will apply to all other items.
The event will take place from 4 to 8 p.m. at the Brampton CRC (395 Chrysler Dr.) and Fewster CRC (1126 Fewster Dr.) in Brampton. This thread is currently associated with: N/A2021-Bring on the sunshine, sweets & online shopping.

Free is good. Some communities are charging $5, but is still a good deal.

I've seen a couple of service group paper shredding events advertised in Hamilton but they were fee-based (per small banker box) as fundraisers for whatever projects the service groups were pursuing.
