I really despise those that think they are hip and cool when they say 'My bad'. I always respond with your bad what? They look at me not understanding. I then go on to say my bad is an incomplete sentence and improper use of the English language. Recently made an appointment at TD bank. Got there and the young dude couldn't get my name spelled correctly even though I wrote it out. He must have said "my bad" 1/2 a dozen times. I explained about his choice of words & he didn't get it. So I told him thanks, I made a mistake and do not want my business in your hands... and walked out.
