How does rep power works and how do you get more of them

You can give other people rep by clicking on the balance scale located at the bottom of the box which has their name. It is between the online status button, and report post button.

People give you rep when they like/appreciate your post.

OK, first question on rep. on the very bottom of a conversation box, <SCRIPT type=text/javascript> vbrep_register("647471")</SCRIPT> , you put your cursor over and click on it. A box will open to give rep. to that person.
You cannot give rep to yourself, and not repeatedly to the same person. You have to give rep to a number of different people before you can give to a person again.
Also, there is a limit of how much rep you can give in a day (don't ask me how many as I have no idea)

Candy, you cash in to buy gifts for other people.
If you look at this conversation box you will see under my candies




You click on it and a new page opens up, move to the bottom, and then you see the options to buy different gifts for whom ever you choose and how many candies it costs. (cheapest is the book at 500)
