Sears and JP Morgan Chase will end card agreement Nov. 15/2015

I'm aware at least one SCer is appreciative of their credit card via this Sears/JP Morgan Chase agreement so enjoy it while it runs for just under a year. I spotted the news item from October on the site where I was looking up more recent information about Sears' 3rd quarter results.

There is no information yet about who may carry on card services after that day for Sears.

Might be a good idea to see if the Canadian JP Morgan Chase entity offers similar cards under other brand names.

Think the card mention was made in an SC thread about another brand's credit card. Cannot recall for sure but hope you spot this thread soon.

Still no word on who will be replacing Chase as Sears' issuer. There's no way Sears is going to get paid what they got paid from Chase - given the instability of Sears. That means one thing, either the program will be devalued, or Sears will take a bath. Doesn't credit card revenues represent more than 30% of Sears EBITDA? ouch.

Got notice in mail from Chase that my card would be no good after Nov 15th, it also says they don't know if there will be a replacement company. Wish Sears had sent me some info first concerning my Sears points etc.
