Thats a good day to have something comforting and good smelling simmering on the stove, or baking in the oven.. Also a good day for a light spring cleaning (Man I sound old!). Oh, and tea.

I read that as "spot cleaning".. Now..spot cleaning would make you sound old

I told my mum we did spring cleaning last year!!! come on! (then she informed me that we actually didn't do the outside windows...oh... fine then )

I love to spend rainy days at the cottage. I have HUGE old trees in the yard, lots of birds and squirells and rabbits. It is sooo peacefull out there. The rain sounds are softer because of the pine needles on the ground, and the smell of a rain out there is so good.
Thunderstorms aren't so great out there because we always loose power, but that is what back up sources are for...solar and wind driven...would never have a generator..too much noise and pollution.

We break out the rainy day toys to give baby J some variety. I try my best to occupy him.

I like rain! I like how fresh and clean everything looks and smells. Baking bread or cinnamon buns is a great rainy day event. Good day to clean (if you feel like cleaning). Also good for sleeping.

I do everything I normally do on a rainy day. Cleaning, cooking and homework still need to be done whether it's raining or not.

But if it's a weekend morning I love to lay in bed and listen to the rain.

    -look through photo albums
    -take a nap
-rent a movie and pig out on popcorn and pop

hope helps your rainy day blues!
