Gaming ( Video Games)

I've gone from Deus Ex: Human Revolution (loved it) to Dishonoured (it was good). Then I tried Metro and Singularity, didn't like them so didn't play beyond a mission. Next I played Rage (just okay) and Hitman: Absolution (was good). Now I'm playing Far Cry 3. I'm leaning more to not liking it. Main character gets captured a lot lol.

Far Cry 4 - Give it a 7/10. I liked it better than 3. I had to have the lowest performance settings on as my comp could barely run it.

Just Cause 2 - Give it a 4/10. I stopped playing it after 1.5 missions.

Bioshock Infinite - Give it a 3/10. I hated it really. The only element of Bioshock was the old timey setting and the vending machines. Didn't like the elements of racism and the religious/patriot mashup. If you were expecting the same game as Bioshock I & II, you're in for a disappointment.


Now I'm looking for a new game to play.

I'm not that avid gamer, but love playing Sims 3 on my iPad (yeah it sounds more Girlish )

I need a little advice please, gryphon, if you don't mind. We're considering purchasing a system for DS for Christmas but we're both so out of touch with video games that we don't know where to start or what to believe. DS wants a WiiU whereas I'm more leaning towards a PS4 or an Xbox One. DH would be happy dusting off his old Atari and wrapping it up DS already has a Wii and he loves it but the games are getting harder and harder to come by. I, however, would like to try different games that are not available for the Wii.... but, alas, the system is not for me..sigh. He'll be ten by the time Christmas rolls around. What, in your opinion, is the best system out there?
