Norris dealing with thyroid cancer
Detroit Tigers LHP Daniel Norris revealed on twitter that he's been diagnosed with a thyroid tumor that's cancerous. Norris will head for surgery soon. The Sportsnet 590 The FAN family wishes the former Blue Jay a speedy recovery.
I second that.

Let's all hope for the best for Daniel Norris.
Although he is no longer a Jay, because of his long association with the Blue Jays, I am sure that all Blue Jay fans hope for a speedy and complete recovery for him.
I am somewhat surprised that he knew about this condition in May and did nothing about it til now.
The earlier these types of diseases are treated, the better the prognosis for recovery.
Still hope for the best for him.Last edited by zfurman; Mon, Oct 19th, 2015 at 05:59 PM.

Well today's game is really do or die for the Blue Jays.
Going down 3 -0 to KC would almost put the second last nail in the Jays coffin.
Cueto showed in his last outing that he can be a tough customer. He has also shown that he can be rattled by a big and noisy crowd.
Lets hope that the Jays fans can be the 10th man on the field with their cheering and noise.
Stroman has to come up big and the Jays bats have to come alive.
Going into tomorrow's game trailing the series 2 - 1 would certainly give them some hope.
Coming come back from a 2 - 0 deficit is not unusual for the Jays, but this KC team seems to always find a way to win.
Jays have to bring their "A" game tonight in all areas of the game - pitching, offense, defense, aggressiveness, toughness and hitting.
GO JAYS GO !!!!!!!!!!Last edited by zfurman; Mon, Oct 19th, 2015 at 06:40 PM.

As always, I am preparing a hitter by hitter report for this game for my own records and if any of the loyal subscribers to this site would like a copy, just send me a PM and I will post it.
Cheers.
