A warm start to the day. It started thundering & raining last night a bit, then just went away. Guess it ended up in your neck of the woods, HG.
You tell them, Kawam. That's the 2nd playoff game, i believe, that you've been to & the Jays have won. Are you heading to KC to keep the streak alive?
No ball games tonight due to the Mets winning their series. Guess the Cubs are still waiting. Back to the Future didn't quite get the outcome right. Close, but no cigar.

Brilliant Estrada Leads Jays Over Royals in Game 5

Marco Estrada has saved the Toronto Blue Jays from elimination for the second time this post-season. The Jays right-hander pitched a gem as Toronto beat Kansas City 7-1 to force Game 6 in the ALCS. The ALCS goes back to Missouri for Game 6 on Friday and possibly a Game 7 on Saturday, with the Royals leading the best-of-even series 3-2. World Series tickets go on sale this morning at 10 am. The New York Mets have clinched the National League pennant with a 8-3 win over the Chicago Cubs in Game 4 of the National League Championship Series.

Cpl. Nathan Cirillo Remembered One-Year After Parliament Hill Shooting

One year ago, on October 22nd, Michael Zehaf-Bibeau opened fire on Parliament Hill, killing Cpl. Nathan Cirillo at the National War memorial before walking into the centre block, continuing to fire. Cirillo, 24, was shot in the back while on ceremonial sentry duty at the Tomb of the Unknown Soldier. Zehaf-Bibeau was shot 31 times by six officers. The Government of Canada is holding a memorial at the National War Memorial at 11 a.m.

Kane Leads Sabres to SO Win Over Leafs

Evander Kane tied it with 4:29 left with his first goal for Buffalo and the Sabres beat the Toronto Maple Leafs 2-1 in a shootout Wednesday night.

What a great offer h team!! Leaf games in Montreal are a lot of fun since there are so many supporters. I'm sure it will be a nice break away from packing too!!!
