The kween went out to Cobourg for lunch with an old friend she hasn't seen in years on Monday. As she was backing into a parking spot, some old fart drives past her front end and scrapes the paint off the front of the Rogue; then he kept on driving out of the lot! He must've known because it rocked the Rogue and he must have scrapes the whole side of his car. I guess she was in shock because instead of following him or phoning she memorized his plate and tried to enter it into her cell phone, which kept on autocorrecting on her. Bottom line she didn't tell me until she was on her way home and I told her to get back there and report it to the local police; otherwise we'd be eating the deductible - which is the case in a fail to remain (irrespective of fault). So she goes back and tells all at Cobourg Police Station, they were very nice to her and tried lots of permutations and transpositions of the plate with no success. On top of that she got a parking ticket as well because her lunch was more than 2 hours. It was easier to hug her than the Rogue; but I felt sorry for both of them.

French PM Warns Extremists May Attack Using Chemical/Biological Weapons

This is certainly not the news people in France want to hear right now -- the country’s Prime Minister is warning France could be targeted by chemical and biological weapons in the weeks ahead. The news come as leaders in France continue to look at extending the current state of emergency by 3 months, allowing police to conduct more raids and make more arrests. There seems to be a lot of conflicting reports regarding the condition of the mastermind behind the Paris attacks. Some European officials say Abdelhamid Abaaoud is dead after yesterday’s raid. Ben Rhodes, America’s Deputy National Security Advisor says they’re waiting to hear from the French before confirming his death.

Poll: Majority of Canadians Oppose Plan to Bring 25,000 Syrian Refugees

The majority of Canadians oppose the government’s plan to resettle 25,000 Syrian refugees in the next six weeks, and the most common complaint is that there isn’t enough time, a new poll shows. More than half of Canadians (54%) either moderately or strongly oppose Prime Minister Justin Trudeau’s plan to bring 25,000 refugees over by Jan. 1, 2016. Meanwhile, 42% moderately or strongly support the plan, according to an Angus Reid Institute poll conducted three days after terrorist attacks killed 129 people in Paris.
