    Wasn't too bad riding the bike today down by the water, but on the way back the wind was a blowin! Anyways, got my new kettle and it does look pretty neat when the water is boiling (bubbles are illuminated in blue). There was another one on a deal as well a bit cheaper but I went for this one in the end.....Also, got my health card updated from the old to the new picture one (got the notice saying I HAD to!) had to wait 45 minutes for that........

    One of my friends from high school just posted on FB that she needs to get the new health card too... I'm sure it's just a matter of time for me...

    We got our hot tub fixed today - thank goodness...

    The temperature was doing funky things the last few weeks and we think it was because we let the water level get a little too low and air got into one of the pumps. We bought some replacement parts on Saturday to stop the slow leak (that was reducing the water level) and we thought all was good.... I opened the lid to get in on Sunday and the tub was empty!!! No water in it at all!! We think that the extra pressure from stopping the leak caused the drain valve to blow off.... We bought the replacement part on Sunday but we then realized that the repair was beyond our ability.... The worst part was that the tub is built into our deck and we had to take a section of our deck apart... We'll probably have to wait until spring to get that back together again, but at least the tub is functional again.... what a relief!!
