I just downloaded the new IE7... Love the look and ease of use. Those of you with the Windows Live Spaces site... It works FASTER. No more lag waiting for it to load!!!

Thanks for the info dyamond_girl
I was about to use Internet Explorer 7 yesterday when I discovered that Mozilla Firefox 2 has a form spelling checker! so I decided to continue using Firefox instead.

I was considering investigating into using Firefox, but I came across this article, and thought I'm better off with a product that can be fixed then one that they are not sure if they could fix it.
this is the article I read... maybe I misunderstood it. I know there is no perfect tool... I'll hold out a little longer I think.

I use Firefox and IE too. Because I have my own msn group I have to use IE but I refuse to get 7. A few of my members have had some serious trouble with it. I hope yours works out!!

I tried the Beta of 7 a few months ago, and it just seemed like a really half-arsed "me too" from Microsoft. It doesn't really do anything Firefox hasn't done for years, and Firefox does so much more anyways.
Don't get me wrong, I'm a big Microsoft booster, but compared to Firefox, IE is absolute trash.
Boo - I haven't bothered upgrading to 2 yet because I'm worried none of my extensions will carry over yet - what was your experience?

My hubby said, "I have downloaded and am running Firefox 2.0 RC2 in both Windows and Linux and it's been working just fine. All my extentions seem to still be there. If you do lose any extentions you can re-install them. Some extentions at this time don't work with RC2 but may with the full release of 2.0. There's really lots of nice new features. And it's also way more stable and fast then Firefox 1.5.0.7"

It's the "some extensions may not work with" part that I'm worried about. That being said, I'm probably just being silly. I'm going to get off my Duff and download 2.0 now.
And go Linux! w00t!

gahh... I miss my extensions!!
I'm such a whiner, I know, but I had a number of extensions I was using before that either haven't updated for 2.0 yet or won't because of new features already existing in 2.0. I LOVED the TabBrowser preference extension, as well as TabX, but now that Firefox is trying to do those functions on their own (and not as well I might add!) I'm just going to have to adapt.
As soon as del.icio.us updates their extension, I think I can cope with the loss of my others.
