Pop Icon Prince Found Dead in His Minneapolis Home

Prince, one of the most inventive and influential musicians of modern times was found dead at his home on Thursday in suburban Minneapolis. He was 57. The local sheriff said deputies found Prince unresponsive in an elevator late Thursday morning after being summoned to his home, but that first-responders couldn't revive him. No details about what may have caused his death have been released. An autopsy will be done today to determine the cause of death.

Raptors Smother Pacers in Game 3

The Toronto Raptors cruised past the Indiana Pacers 101-85 in Game 3 to take a 2-1 series lead. Toronto Raptors Kyle Lowry and DeMar DeRozan each scored 21 points in the game. Game 4 is Saturday at 3PM.

Guitarist and vocalist Lonnie Mack, known as one of rock’s first true guitar heroes—and a major influence on Stevie Ray Vaughan—died Thursday, April 21, of natural causes at Centennial Medical Center near his home in Smithville, Tennessee. He was 74.
His early instrumental recordings—including "Wham!" and "Memphis"—influenced many of rock's greatest players, including Vaughan, Eric Clapton, Duane Allman, Keith Richards and Jimmy Page.
