Hi, I wanted to know which school has the quickest way to get your drivers licence? in Hamilton.
I don't know anything about driving schools, would appreciate your help in this.
Which driving school should I go to to get my drivers licence as quickly as possible?
Thank you! This thread is currently associated with: N/A

8 months for full licence? that's very quick....I was just browsing a website (firstclassdrivingschool) and ....it seems like a very long process, newcomers have to take a 2-step process that takes at least 20 months to complete... then you only get your G1, to get your G2 you have to wait 1 year before you can even apply for it! 1 year! plus the G2 that's.. a very long time

Well yes sorry you do a written test for you beginners g1
The course allows u to apply for your g2 in 8 mths rather than the full year til you can do your driving test to drive alone with your g2
Then a year til you can apply for your g
It is the same process for everyone.
Now if you are a newcomer and were a licensed driver in your previous country there may be a quicker way but you would have to call and ask at the Bureau for the details. I'm sure if you were a licensed drive elsewhere they just might test you and give you the g here

I wouldn't think so. The only difference might be cost and/or days length of the classes ie weekends over the month or a week straight 9-5 for example

You can get a discount on your auto insurance too if you have gone to driving school. Make sure the school is accredited so you can get this discount. That would be my only thing I would really check.

I understand that it can be hard to get your driver's test for road booked fast, depending on demand in the area you plan to book in. The Toronto Star had an investigative series about two years ago about driving schools booking road tests outside of Toronto because in Toronto, months of waiting were needed to get a road test booking. But the smaller communities don't reflect Toronto's driving realities.
I know if I return to driving, I'm starting from the beginning just like any new driver. That was made clear when I returned my licence to Service Ontario.2021-Bring on the sunshine, sweets & online shopping.
