Thanks, I guess I'm not a "Smart Shopper" after all.... but I do try my best to utilize coupons for the best deals out there. I'm not a thief and have no intentions of screwing any incomp. "hard working cashiers and brag about it". When I notice a mistake at the store, I point it out. I don't think I should have to baby sit cashiers though. That's not my job. That's what their head cashiers are for. I don't care what a persons job is, just do it right. If the job of cashier and coupon redemption is too overwhelming--maybe they have chosen the wrong career for them.
What if I hadn't looked at my receipt??? I usually don't review grocery bills--I just throw them out, knowing that I won't need it after consuming my groceries. I've just recently starting reviewing my receipts after joining SC and reading so many posts of how consumers get screwed by cashiers mistakes. Thanks SC for opening my eyes!!!!
FYI---This is the same head cashier that always overrides my Olay coupons. When I go back there tonight, I will offer her 3 more coupons to balance off their books. Not likely that she can go in any other way and remedy the situation. Not like I can give her money. What's she going to do with it.??? Throw it in the till and ask the computer to recognize a no-purchase transaction. If she wouldn't have screwed it up in the first place, I wouldn't be here defending myself.
CHEERS!!! HAPPY DAY!!
By the way--Are you making this point :
(1)--to defend incomp.. cashiers OR
(2)--to trash me because of incomp.. cashiers??

Different topic, but something interesting I recently learned. To prevent roses from keeling over, always cut them with an knife, and always cutt them underwater. The florist told me that if you don't, the stem gets an air bubble and that's why they flop before opening. Luckily, she also "replaced" my roses at no cost.

That's good to know!! Thanks!! I'll keep it in mind for the next batch.
Didn't get a chance to cut these. They were purchased on Friday and presented to me by my 2 year old Grandson the next day on Valentines. He didn't know the difference and was still quite pleased with the way they looked. We displayed them anyway. That's the reason I never returned or exchanged them. He would have thought it was odd to see roses with their heads held high.
