Just curious @rocko ...
I don't shop at Walmart often, what is it like trying to PM meat in this case? The pork is technically a branded meat (Maple Leaf) and the YIG/Valu-Mart flyer does not mention a brand, what does Wal-mart think of this PM, okay? or not since it is branded? Think I remember some time ago in my early couponing career I tried to PM meat at Wal-Mart and was denied the PM since it wasn't Maple Leaf meat, or have they become more relaxed in their policy since a few years ago, or is it even just the Wal-Mart I shopped at and most will PM meat irregardless of brand?
Personally, I plan on trying to get the meat at RCSS with a nice PM and points offer too, but meat PM'ing at Wal-Mart just sorta scares me to try to even do

@johnb56789
I PM meat all the time at my Walmart, however I am limited to the unbranded meat (cannot PM to Maple Leaf unless ad states ML). I know some will allow it so best to check your Walmart specifically before even trying. That being said, I can still pm all types of ground beef, chicken legs, and chicken breasts, so I'm totally happy, even with limitations

re price matching meat
I experience the same frustration as everyone when it comes to price matching meats, so I don't depend on it for an immediate meal when doing price matching. I just learned the behavior of each store, each CSM & Cashier to determine feasibility. Of course, it also depends on the radius of valid flyers the stores consider valid for matching (recently, stores in my area are scaling back their radius, but it changes frequent, so I keep testing the process.)
> Some Walmart stores do not price match meat at all (ie: Georgetown)
> Some Walmart stores price match meat types only for the matching meat of their store brand product line (ie: Ajax, Pickering, Heartland). However, I have uncovered that these stores WILL make an exception and will price match Maple Leaf REGULAR (not PRIME) if the matching store is a large chain like: Zehrs, YIG, Loblaws, Food Basics, Freshco, etc. They claim those competing stores have equal high quality unlike the independent Asian stores. Maple Leaf REGULAR includes Chicken Wings, Thighs, Drumstick (or are thighs & drumstick store brand?... can't remember.)
> Some Walmart stores, on a regular basis (varies by CSM), will price match Maple Leaf Regular (not PRIME) along with store brand. Pork, Chicken Thigh, Chicken Drumstick, Chicken Wings are under the REGULAR Maple Leaf label. If you price match the premium label PRIME, it has to be stipulated as PRIME in the flyer.
I wish Walmart would be like McDonalds and apply a corporate rule across all stores, rather than leave it up to the stores & CSMs. Cause it's not fair to cashiers who receive different instructions from different CSMs and makes it difficult to meet job performance. Also, some CSMs apply their own personal bias and decline price matching.
These same issues exists with price matching meats at any other store (RCSS, Freshco, No Frills, etc).

If anyone sees the Billy Bee honey 500g for $3.99, please let me know where it was! I just went through over a dozen (mostly asian from A-H) flyers, wrote that one down, but forgot to write the store.

@Valerey , you've made a really good low priced list. Thank you for sharing.
You probably know this, but for the benefit of others, C51 offers $1 for Special K Nourish Bar with Quinoa, great with the $1.17 price you're paying @ Darthmouth Guardian.
Other low prices which may be of interest:
$.49 Roma Tomatoes @ Best Grocery Depot
$.79 Green Peppers @ Best Grocery Depot (I haven't checked all flyers for this item)

Thanks so much @cinpow . You found us an even lower price for the Nourish bar deal, thus, only pay the tax. Excellent, thank you.
UPDATE: I also noticed Piper has a $2 sale on Lady Speedstick. This is a perfect price for my C51 offer $3.50wub3 with the usual coupons, $1+ $2.50wub2. Fantastic, thanks!Last edited by rockco; Sat, Apr 29th, 2017 at 12:27 AM.

Is there a coupon or rebate for Nourish bar?, but $1 is a good deal.
